His vision was to establish a program to help individuals develop skills needed to play competitive basketball in high school and college. The program promotes an environment that instills confidence, self-esteem, and leadership skills. It operates as a NCAA-certified event under the NCAA Coaches Approval Program. SME has been ranked as the number one club program in the state.
The mission statement of SME is to assist youth in developing skills, sportsmanship-like conduct, self esteem, and positive attitudes, which will provide a solid foundation for good character. We also foster an environment promoting scholastic achievement and athletic success through coaching, mentoring, and inspiring players to reach their maximum potential to ultimately become productive members of the local community.
